How to find a business
There are two ways to find a business in Infomedia Yellow Pages CD ROM
The Yellow Pages CD allows you to: search; and browse
Searching for a business in Infomedia Yellow Pages CD ROM
You may search for a business by:
business category
business name
keyword
The Advance search form is found on the front door of the Yellow Pages CD and link on the left column of most pages. In this form, you may specify the business category or the business name that you want to search for. When searching by business name, Yellow Pages CD searches its database for both the registered and trade names of businesses.
To search by keyword, you need to go to the Keyword search page. If you are on the front door of the site, select the Search by product? brand? keyword? link under the Basic search form. You may also select Keyword search link on all other pages.
Browsing through a list of business categories
You may also find a business by browsing. To browse means to go through a list of business categories. The Infomedia Yellow Pages CD displays the list in the following manner:

How to search by business name
You may search by business name in Infomedia Yellow Pages CD. If you already know the name of the business you are searching for, it is recommended that you search by business name. To search for a business name, use the Advance search form found on the front door of the site and link on the left column of most pages.
On the Basic search form, you will be asked to choose from these two options:
search by business category
search by business name
Select business name by clicking on it alphabet.
Under the Search by options, a field box is provided. Simply type in the business name that you want to search for. Infomedia Yellow Pages CD ROM searches its database for both the registered and trade names of businesses.
Infomedia Yellow Pages CD ROM returns a Which business? page that displays a list of matching business categories related to the business name you have specified. This page contains the following:
The total number of matching businesses found
The business name you have searched for
A listing of business categories found related to the specified business name
How to view the Results Page
The Results page displays a list of businesses that matched your search criteria. This page contains the following:
The business name or category you have searched for
The number of pages for the results (first 10 pages)
The number of businesses that matched the search criteria
Record numbers of business which is currently on your screen
Showing time take by your computer for your search
A list of all search results with the Advertiser list on top
Results Listing
The search results are presented in two sections:
Advertiser list
All search results
The Premium list section displays all businesses that availed of this advertising option and matched the searched category. If there are no premium list advertisers under the searched category,the Premium list section is not displayed.
The All search results section displays all businesses that match your search criteria in alphabetical order, including businesses in the Premium list. If matching businesses are already listed in the Premium list, the All results section is not displayed.
Order of Search Results
Each page displays 20 results. If more than 20 businesses are found, page numbers are displayed at the bottom of the page so you may jump to other pages to view more results. The first ten pages are displayed.
By default, this listing is sorted in alphabetical order. The alphabets are displayed so you may select a letter and view businesses that start with the selected letter.
Results Page features
Every item in the listing includes the complete name of the business and the business location. You may also click on the displayed symbols to access these MYP features:
send an email inquiry to the company
using the Email Messenger
send a fax inquiry to the company
using the Fax Messenger
visit the company's web site
view the company's Business showcase
NOTE: These facilities are only available if provided by the company.
When you select the company web site link, the company web site will open in new frame.
Select a business name from the lists of results by clicking on it. The selected company's Business page is displayed.
How to view the Business Page
The Business page contains information about the companies listed in Infomedia Yellow Pages CD ROM. From the Results page, select a business name by clicking on it. The selected company's web page is displayed containing basic information about the business. This includes:
• business name
• address
• telephone number
• fax number (if available)
• contact Person name
• email (if available) and an email link
• website address (if available) and a website link
• business description
• at least one category under which the business is classified (and an category link ) If the company you selected from the Results page is a Advertiser business, the Business page includes an Advertise which is in printed in yellow pages on the place of business description .
